Our Programs (Under Construction)

• Fire Safety - We have partnered with the Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department to provide smoke detectors to the families of all babies born at Ogallala Community Hospital.  In addition, a Safe Kids grant helped purchase puppets for fire prevention programs and videos for juvenile firesetter education.
   
• Child Passenger Safety - Safe Kids Sandhills conducts 3-4 free car seat checkups in and around Ogallala per year. Check back or contact us for dates.
   
• Water Safety - We have a number of water safety programs, including participation in the Life Jacket Loaner Program at Lake McConaughy, the "Kids Don't Float and They Don't Drive the Boat" campaign, and more.
